Tom Baxter

Went to see Tom Baxter last night in the Olympia and honestly it was the best concert i have ever been to, he is a brilliant live performer and his voice is amazing, his band were on top form and the whole performance was terrific! He is a real crowd pleaser with good interaction with his fans and everyone was singing along with his amazing songs from Skybound and Feathers and Stones. I would recommend going to see Tom when he is back in May.

Annie The Musical

Annie was a very entertaining show! Went to see it with my cousins yesterday..! I dont know how they keep the show running for such a long time and it's doing great..the girl who plays annie is brillant and so are all the kids who play the orphans..they are all naturals! Very enjoyable show but one fault was the seats weren't very good..espiecially for the younger kids who had adults sitting in frount of them..I would recommend the show to all.

Annie The Musical

I went to see Annie the musical on the opening night 10th july and I had a fabulous time. I have to say the girl who played annie (shannen egan) was wonderful, what a great little voice actress she is. Well done to all the cast what a great opening.

Annie The Musical

I took my 8 yr old daughter to see Annie on Sunday and we both had a ball. I have always been a fan since I was a kid and my daughter was introduced to the dvd about a year ago. The whole cast were amazing and I would strongly recomend you go and see it. I am going to go back and see it again and this time I will take my Mum as well as my daughter. Truly fun packed family fun.

Annie The Musical

Well, I have to say, last night I had to take my hat off to the production of Annie that I went to see in the Olympia. It was absolutely suberb. I have always felt that Dublin is at a loss as we do not have a theatre built for musicals like other cities in Europe but the Olympia pulled it off ok last night. Now the production was excellent, being from the west end. The only quam that I would have with it was the fact that the alledged parents of annie did not kidnapp her as in the movieplay but thats another story. However it just goes to show that had we a propper venue in Dublin as oppose to the shed that is the point, we could host more shows of such quality.. save our trips tp London and bring in all the associated revenu into Dublin. There is a demand for such entertainment in Ireland if we had the resources and last night just showed the potential. The Olympia has a limited capacity.. we need the goverment to recognise our right and need to exploit our cultural abilities in Ireland.. it would also get people out of the pubs.. giving us a social alternative. The reprecussions are endless. Anyway, a fab night out for anyone of any age or gender... and we deserve to be able to have more of this in Ireland. Property being what it is.. give some over to the Arts and watch the country flourish artistically and economically.

Inxs

Inxs where incredible. There new lead singer JD Fortune has an amazing voice and stage presence. I never thought Inxs could replace Michael but they have and the future could be great with JD. They opened the set with Suicide Blonde with had the hairs on the back of my neck standing, the sound of the band was unreal. I went to REM in the same venue last night and i have to say Inxs where far the better which is a comment i never thought i would say. Try and catch them live and have a listen to ther new album"Switch".

Who By Fire

Truly awful. From the cramped seats to the amateur acting. Rubb-ish.
